In the Public Workshop, you’ll learn to apply cause-and-effect thinking to your problems. Our Cause Mapping method is a simple application of the scientific method. It’s an uncomplicated way to systematically investigate and prevent problems - from basic to the most complex. Too often companies make problem-solving confusing. Attendees describe this workshop as a refreshing approach. We have no jargon, terminology, or lingo and there’s no proprietary software to buy. By focusing on the basics, we show individuals and groups how to make complex problems clearer to find better solutions.
Attend the first two days of the public workshop or all three. The public workshop is also available live online in 3-hour sessions for those who prefer remote training.
The first day covers the concepts, lessons, and steps to consistently apply cause-and-effect thinking to different types of problems, issues and processes.
On the second day attendees will apply what they’ve learned to different exercises and case studies. Each person will learn how to start with a simple analysis that can expand into as much detail as needed to thoroughly explain an issue.
The third day teaches documentation skills for quickly and clearly capturing each piece of a comprehensive investigation. Attendees will also learn how to clearly present the findings.

Our public workshop is available in two formats: In-Person or Live Online. Both options cover the same subject matter but allow attendees to engage in different ways.
If you learn best when working with a collaborative team, our in-person workshops will be right up your alley. Our in-person option provides interaction with a ThinkReliability Instructor, other problem solving professionals in similar or entirely different professions, and hands-on exercises that are worked individually and also as group exercises.
If scheduling or budget constraints means leaving your office isn’t an option, we also offer our RCA classes online so you can access training from anywhere from your computer. A live, ThinkReliability Instructor leads the workshop and provides effective exercises to demonstrate the methodology and application.
A ThinkReliability instructor will present the workshop at your location. Each attendee will learn the concepts, lessons, and steps of the Cause Mapping method. In addition to practice exercises and examples, attendees work on their current problems.
