We are looking for an online training assistant to join our team and provide problem-solving and outstanding customer service to help our online training run smoothly for our instructors and learners.


  • Provide just-in time instructional technology support using various tools for teaching and learning, including, but not limited to, the following related software programs and applications: GoToTraining, GoToWebinar, GoToMeeting, Microsoft Teams and Thought Industries
  • Adapt and troubleshoot learner and instructor user problems
  • Respond to learner and instructor issues regarding online learning by e-mail, phone call or in person
  • Assist with the quality control of courses throughout the year by tracking common issues and developing solutions to mitigate the risk of them occurring in the future
  • Develop, monitor and report on learner experience survey after completion of online training
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation of user and troubleshooting guides for online training platforms
  • Maintain training platform library files and resources
  • Register learners for public and private courses, as needed
  • Assist with set up of new training sessions within online platforms
  • Assist with course development based on data collected from learners during and after training
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Responsible, reliable and punctual
  • Excellent customer service, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Some experience supporting instructors and learners with instructional technology
  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions accurately
  • Strong attention to details
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency with Internet, E-mail technology and online learning platforms
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Must enjoy being creative and working within a team
  • Knowledge of office practices and procedures
  • Ability to work independently, hit deadlines and take initiative when needed
  • Creative thinking skills with the ability to bring new ideas to the table
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
  • Knowledge of GoToTraining, GoToWebinar, Thought Industries preferred
  • Experience with instructional design a plus
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus
  • Experience with UX a plus
